Google Maps Platform announced on August 20, 2026 that new routing features for Grounding with Google Maps are now generally available in Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. The affected surface is location discovery inside enterprise agents and applications. The release adds directions, search along route, real-time traffic, up to 13 intermediate stops, richer place attributes, busyness signals, amenities, and route-aware place context.
