Cloudflare Makes Gateway Programmable

Cloudflare announced on October 15 that its secure web gateway is becoming programmable by combining Gateway enforcement with Workers execution. The affected surface is enterprise web traffic control inside Cloudflare’s SASE stack. Instead of only matching traffic conditions to terminal actions such as allow, block, isolate, or log, teams can apply Workers logic to inspect, transform, route, or enrich requests during policy enforcement.
